Hey James,
Thank you for your compliments!
What is not working? The ActionScriptEvent PostBacks?
This may be something that I've fixed but not yet released (we're planning releasing a slew of new releases and updates this coming week).

James, We fixed this problem on August 1st. Please make sure you're using the latest version of ActionSpeak - it should be named "ActionSpeak.Flash8.fla" or "ActionSpeak.Flash9.fla". You can get these files from the downloads page: http://www.aspnetflash.com/aspnetflash_Download_Free_Trial.aspxLet me know if this doesn't solve it! -Dave

Hi Dave! Thank you very much for your help, but I cannot seem to get this to work properly. I replaced the actionspeak component with the latest version from the website, and tested it by placing two labels on my page, one to show eventName and the other to show eventArgument. But when the flash movie caused the page to postback, the label to show eventName contained "eventName± õ eventArgument" and the label to show eventArgument was blank. Woops! Maybe ive done something wrong in the flash file... Please help, im only 17 lol ;p Thanks, James

Hello, I was just wondering if it is the update posted on September 28th that fixes this bug, or if the fix for this particular problem hasn't been released yet.. just the latest release isn't solving my problems ;p Thanks, James

Hi good news I got your project working perfectly. How? I just used the latest DLLs http://www.aspnetflash.com/aspnetflash_Download_Free_Trial.aspxTo use these - you will have to remove any trace of the old DLLS from your project. http://www.aspnetmedia.com

Thanks a lot Jake! I cant believe it was something as simple as that to fix the problem, although I feel a bit stupid for not trying that in the first place!
But.. I have another problem; when the eventargument string is passed over, it is adding a space before the string..
You guys must be getting sick of me by now lol. It might just be an error in my code somewhere, i'll have a look, but il post a reply if I cant find any errors
Thanks, James

Hi James In the mean time - can you Trim the string? I've put the issue in the queue to be investigated for the next update. I'm sure you can appreciate this type of "batching" allows us to test much more thoroughly. All the best with your project - and thanks for your input http://www.aspnetmedia.com
